North Tampa - Lutz Cadet Squadron Awards for their outstanding Cadets and Seniors of 2007. The awards were presented at the North Tampa Cadet Squadron Annual Banquet which was held at Lutz Civic Center on the 12th day of April 2008.

Senior of the year 2009.  Second Lieutenant Steven E. Gay was presented the Senior of the Year Award during North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Banquet held on the 22nd of August 2009 by Jerry Angley, CAP-USAF SD, FL.

Cadet of the Year 2009.  Chief Master Sergeant Zachary S. Dawson was presented the Cadet of the Year Award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Banquet held on the 22nd August 2009 by Jerry Angley, CAP-USAF SD, FL.

Squadron Commanders Choice of the Year 2009.  Cadet Master Sergeant Luis A. Camacho was presented The Squadron Commanders Choice Award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Banquet held on the 22nd August 2009 by Jerry Angley.

Most Improved Cadet of the Year 2009.  Cadet Master Sergeant Luis A. Camacho was presented the Most Improved Cadet of the Year Award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Meeting held on the 25th August 2009 by Lieutenant Colonel William H. Westcott (Squadron Commander).

NCO of the Year 2009.  Cadet Chief Master Sergeant William A. Glenn II was presented the NCO of the Year Award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Banquet held on the 22nd August 2009 by Jerry Angley, CAP-USAF SD, FL.

Airman of the Year 2009.  Cadet Staff Sergeant Tyler J. Gay was presented his award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Banquet held on the 22nd August 2009 by Jerry Angley, CAP-USAF SD, FL.

Doolie of the Year 2009.  Cadet Technical Sergeant James R. Zentmeyer was presented his award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Banquet by held on the 22nd August 2009 by Jerry Angley, CAP-USAF SD, FL.

Parent of the Year 2009.  Colleen S. Stewart was presented the Parent of the Year Award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Banquet held on the held on the 22nd August 2009 by Jerry Angley, CAP-USAF SD, FL.

Top Community Service of the year 2009.  Cadet Second Lieutenant Jean J. Alonso was presented the Top Community Service of the Year Award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Banquet held on the held on the 22nd August 2009 by Jerry Angley, CAP-USAF SD, FL.

Top Attendance of the year 2009.  Cadet Airman Jacob O. Jones was presented the Top Attendance of the Year Award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Meeting held on the 25th of August 2009 by Lieutenant Colonel William H. Westcott (Squadron Commander).

Squadron Appreciation Award 2009.  Edwina Kraemer was presented the Squadron Appreciation Award during the North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Banquet held on the held on the 22nd of August 2009 by Jerry Angley, CAP-USAF SD, FL.  This Award is presented to a Leader of the Community that volunteers their time to the Community and our Squadron during the year.

This Year North Tampa-Lutz Cadet Squadron Cadets earned all  Five Milestone Awards (From left to right):  Cadet Colonel Juan C. Arraya earned his General Carl A. Spaatz Award and his General Ira C. Eaker Award,  Cadet Lt  Colonel CJ Rivenbark  earned his General Ira C. Eaker Award (Charles Rivenbark "Father of son away at college"), Cadet Captain Johnathan Law earned his Amelia Earhart Award, Cadet First Lieutenant Kenneth Bradford earned his General Billy Mitchell Award, and Cadet Staff Sergeant Micah Leon earn his Wright Brothers Award.  We congratulate all of these Cadets for their hard work.  

Florida Wing Commander Colonel Matt Sharkey Presented North Tampa Cadet Squadron Commander Major William H. Westcott the Civil Air Patrol 60th Diamond Anniversary Coin 15th  February  2003

North Tampa Cadet Squadron Commander Major William Westcott presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Florida Wing Commander Colonel Matt Sharkey for presenting North Tampa Cadet Squadrons Banquet Awards Ceremony for the year 2002.

North Tampa Cadet Squadron Commander Major William Westcott presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Colonel Jerry Angley for presenting North Tampa Cadet Squadrons Banquet Awards Ceremony for the year 2001.

North Tampa Cadet Squadron Commander Major William Westcott presented a Certificate of Appreciation during the Group 3 Commanders Call and at the Group 3 Banquet to Major Robert Ashman for being the Best Commander Group 3 will ever have. Both presentations brought Standing Ovations for our beloved commander.

Cadet Colonel Steven Schweichler is North Tampa Cadet Squadron's Newest General Spaatz Award Recipient

Awards presented at Florida Wing Conference 1st June 2002:

Florida Wing Commander Colonel Matt Sharkey presented Squadron Commander of Distinction Award to Major William Westcott (Commander of North Tampa Cadet Squadron) from Florida Wing 2001. 

Florida Wing Commander Colonel Matt Sharkey presented the first Aerospace Amy Boxwell Award to Captain Linda Trimpey (Aerospace officer for North Tampa Cadet Squadron) for her continued achievement in Aerospace and now transferred to Florida Wing Staff to enhance the Future of Aerospace.  North Tampa Cadet Squadron wishes Captain Linda Trimpey the best.

Cadet Second Lieutenant Samantha Price received the Frank G. Brewer CAP Memorial Aerospace Award for Florida Wing and Regional at Conference 1st June 2002  and also since she moved to England our Aerospace Officer Captain Linda Trimpey accepted her Brewer Award. 

Awards Presented at Group 3 Banquet 16th March 2002:

C/Captain Jared Baxley received Cadet of the year from Group 3 the 16 March 2002 standing with his PROUD parents Ed and Jackie Baxley.  Jared Baxley was also appointed to the Air Force Academy prep School and playing Football.

Major William Westcott (Commander of North Tampa Cadet Squadron received the Squadron of the year Award for Group 3 and Cadet Captain Jared Baxley received Cadet of the year for Group 3 presented by Major Virginia Saxman (Commander of Group 3) 16th March 2002.

Awards Presented at Florida Wing Conference 8th June 2001:

C/First Lieutenant Jared Baxley was presented with the Frank G. Brewer CAP Memorial Aerospace Award for South East Region by Florida Wing Commander Colonel Anthony Pineda and Colonel Joe Meighan at the Florida Wing Conference.

First Lieutenant Linda Trimpey was presented with the Brewer Award for the State of Florida by Florida Wing Commander Colonel Anthony Pineda and Colonel Joe Meighan at the Florida Wing Conference.

Major William H. Westcott was presented with the Superior Performance Award by Brigadier General James Bobick at the Florida Wing Conference.
